The picture and sound quality is also much better with digital TV and so it is much better to go digital if you like a good picture quality. It is not high definition yet though but may well be soon and so if you buy a Samsung LCD television that has a Freeview tuner built in then it is also wise to make sure it has HD so that when Freeview broadcasts in HD then you will be able to enjoy the HD quality.
Having the Freeview tuner built into the Samsung LCD television also has many advantages as you do not need a separate set top box. This means that you have one less piece of electronic equipment under your television and it also means that you only need one remote control instead of the two that you would need with a separate set top box and Samsung LCD television.
